3. Bioplastics & Eco-Friendly Resins

PLA / Polylactic Acid
Made from plants such as corn and starch, and breaks down naturally under certain conditions. Used for 3D printing filament, eco-friendly straws and disposable containers.

PHA / Polyhydroxyalkanoate
A polymer produced by microorganisms. This next-generation resin is fully biodegradable not only in soil but also in seawater.

PBAT / Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate
Petroleum-based, yet a flexible resin that breaks down quickly in soil. Used for compostable trash bags and agricultural mulch film.

Bio-PET / Bio-Polyethylene Terephthalate
Replaces part of conventional PET feedstock with plant-based material, cutting carbon emissions with the same performance as standard PET.

PCR Resin / Post-Consumer Recycled Resin
Made by collecting, crushing and washing used PET bottles and plastic products and turning them back into raw material.
